Biography
|
Born in 1948, lived most of my life in the Bronx with a few years in Mt Vernon and 6 months in Ridgewood, Queens (1974). Lifelong interest in trains with an uncle in maintenance on the NY Central, and and uncle in maintenance at MaBSTOA. After high school (DeWitt Clinton) I enrolled in broadcasting school and did a short stint in upstate NY on a small a.m. station.
Needing money, I worked several jobs including NY Stock Exchange and Geico before landing a job at Chemical Bank where I stayed 32 years. My best times were as Customer Service rep and business re-engineering manager.
Downsizing in 2001 led to my early retirement.
