NYCTA 4089
NYCTA #4089 operating southbound on Bainbridge Avenue just below Mosholu Parkway on route Bx34 on Saturday, May 15, 2010. The MTA projects that more than 4,000 passengers will be affected when the Bx34 becomes a Monday-to-Friday route. In effect, there will be no service on this route south of East 205 St. during weekends. Bx34 from Woodlawn Heights to Fordham is former Bx4, begun in 1928, and for years operated by Surface Transportation. Photograph taken by Joe McMahon.
